This site is mine, Luca De Rosa, an author living in Italy. I’m responsible for the data described here. Write to me at lucaderosa@rejecthumanity.com about any of it.
Visiting the site
No cookies, no analytics, no ad trackers. The font and the covers load from this site, not from anyone else.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub logs every visitor’s IP address for security, whether or not you have a GitHub account. That log is GitHub’s, under the GitHub Privacy Statement; I don’t see it.
The newsletter
If you sign up, I get your email address and nothing else from the form. I use it for one thing: an email when a book comes out.
- Why I may: your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You give it by signing up and then clicking the link in the confirmation email. No click, no list.
- Who handles it: MailerLite runs the list for me as my processor, with its data stored in the European Union. It records technical details such as IP addresses, and whether an email was opened. Their privacy policy has the details.
- How long: until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link, or just write to me.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, take a copy, object, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing doesn’t undo what was sent before. If you think I’ve mishandled your data, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority where you live.
